Conglomerate Astra International may spend Rp1tn in a bid to increase production capacity at its joint venture Astra Daihatsu Motor from 280k units to 400k units, local newspaper reported. This will be part of the group’s FY10 projected capital expenditure of Rp7.5tn-8.0tn, the report said.
